Abstract
New type of pulse radar front end has been fabricated in an integrated manner at 60 GHz by using the NRD guide. The main emphasis is placed on high-speed operation of the up-converter incorporated in the radar. A short-range detection of centimeter order has been performed for an error range of less than 4 cm because the up-converter has the capability of handling a narrow pulse with a width of 5 ns.
