Abstract :
We present experimental results on the first integrated optical 16×16 strictly non-blocking polymeric switch matrix based on 1×2 digital optical switches. The prototype exhibits an insertion loss around 6 dB and an extinction of better than 30 dB. The polarization dependence is low.
