  • Abstract
The general model for calculating active power line conditioner (APLC) output compensation currents is introduced. A detailed solution algorithm for the general model is presented, which is based on a genetic algorithm. The validity of the solution methodology is shown by a practical example. Finally, an effective way to satisfy the fast response of APLC output compensation is proposed, when bus harmonic voltages are of a dynamic and random nature
