Abstract :
An error registration method of netted radar is presented. A coordinate conversion technique of netted radar, which can obtain earth-centered earth fixed (ECEF) coordinates of the target according to the known conditions, is first introduced. Computation processes of error registration on range, azimuth and elevation of netted radar using generalized least squares (GLS) algorithm are then demonstrated. Simulations, in which the effect of measurement noise on registration error is analyzed, indicate effectiveness and robustness of the proposed error registration method using GLS algorithm.
