Abstract :
Based on the background analysis of CDMA development, this paper focuses on its market conditions and investment value. The results show that the CDMA lost its market share and its cost return was not good enough because of it didn´t fill the customers´ needs. However, it pushed the telecommunications industry forward, brought the convenience to customers. And the most important thing is it brought the profit to the Unicom in the long term and embodied good economic on the side of both social value and option value.
