Abstract :
In this paper the surface wave excitation by the finite phased array of plane waveguides with an impedance flange has been theoretically investigated. The surface waves excited by the array has been considered as superposition of surface waves exited by each waveguide. Mutual coupling between waveguide apertures has been taking into account using variational principle in the single-mode approximation. Some numerical results for the system of two waveguides has been analyzed.
