Abstract
Research shows that low power is always needed in the internal module of a wireless implantable neural recording system. In this paper, a clock multiplier with very simple circuit structure was presented. Using this clock multiplier to replace the analog multiplier in the traditional BPSK demodulator, a new BPSK demodulator with simpler circuit structure and hence lower power consumption can be obtained. The new circuit structure was verified by the measurement results of the board circuit system. Its simpler structure and lower power will make it more suitable to be used in the internal single chip design for wireless implantable neural recording system.
