Abstract :
This paper proposes a new full non-orthogonal integration scheme for unicast and broadcast data streams in future OFDM system, in which broadcast is deployed in single cell scenario. It is firstly analyzed why today´s research results of the integration of unicast and broadcast in Single Frequency Network (SFN) manner cannot work in single cell deployment scenario. By adjusting the modulation constellation map of today´s integration system, the proposed scheme, called crossed HM, works well in the discussed scenario. System level performances are investigated in this paper, which show that the proposed scheme has 40% gain against the discussed SFN integration scheme in terms of effective frequency efficiency. Performances for single cell broadcast without integration to unicast are shown for comparison.
