Abstract :
This paper presents a wide band low noise amplifier (LNA) intended for cable TV reception. The topology used for this amplifier differs from usual ones, and leads to a highly linear LNA. It was built in TSMC 65-nm CMOS technology. The measurements with 2.3 V supply voltage show 5.7 dB noise figure (NF), +64 dBmV IIP3, +80 dBmV IIP2 with 65 mW power consumption. The gain varies from 3 dB to 15 dB with 3 dB steps.
