Abstract :
To secure many-to-one message transmission, the problem of how to perform SC-ECDSA (SignCryption based on Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm) in insecure distributed systems is investigated. Using EC-DKG (Elliptic Curve based Distributed Key Generation), the distributed signcryption with a combiner and the distributed signcryption without the trusted center are proposed. The proposal can tolerate t (t<n/2) faulty participants. Moreover, they achieve the same security as original SC-ECDSA due to the provable security of the secret sharing schemes. EC-DKG represents about 58% reduction in average communication cost. The scheme gives a theoretic foundation to design the fault-tolerance systems.
