Abstract :
The properties of the eigen waves of two waveguide structures are investigated in two cases: for semi-opened dielectric waveguide and for semi-opened elastic waveguide. It is proved that modes of semi-opened waveguides belonging to discrete and to continuous parts of spectrum form the orthogonal system.
