  • Abstract
    The Attitude Measurement System of the Individual Soldier Virtual Training System mainly consists two parts: the digital magnetic compass (DMC) and the angular rate gyro. An initial alignment method assisted by DMC was proposed, the principle and the algorithm of attitude detection of the DMC were introduced and the error compensation method based on segment least square algorithm was studied. Then, the initial alignment scheme is discussed and developed. The results of the alignment simulation and hardware experiments show that the proposed method has a satisfied alignment performance.
