Abstract :
Through comparing and analyzing the existing digging shovel of cassava machinery, and based on the physical characteristics of soil, cassava tuber and the standard factors of the traction power, a triangular convex shovel was designed. Shovel blade angle is 106°, blade width is 100cm, shovel face tilt angle is 25°, the terminal height of shove is 20cm, shovel length is 30cm and of finger-like extension of the parameters (length is 250cm, diameter is 12mm, intervals is 10mm). By calculating the digging force of triangular shovel shows that the digging force does not exceed 6500N.
