Abstract :
This paper introduces the MOON (monitoring out of normal) system for monitoring repetitive cycle production machinery. We explain the approach of single-point supply line monitoring, the original algorithms applied and their inherent problems. The solutions developed are illustrated and an example case study is used to illustrate the potential of the system
