Abstract :
According to control ability of DC motor this paper proposes a new optimal sliding mode control scheme based on the virtual state. The sliding mode surface design is based on the augmented system. The dynamics of this sliding mode have a higher order than those of the original system. Using the virtual state, we can make the motion go into sliding mode state at the initial state. At last, simulation proves the effectiveness of the scheme in DC motor control
