Abstract
This paper presents a novel adaptive digital phase-lock-loop for modern digital global navigation satellite system receivers. A Kalman filtering method with an adaptive scheme to adjust the noise statics is employed to change the equivalent noise bandwidth by using empirical knowledge of the signal-to-noise ratio and the signal dynamics in response to the faded signals and the user dynamics.
