Abstract :
That the traditional CCR model of data envelopment analysis (DEA) method evaluates decision making units (DMU) from the most beneficial perspective to them easily leads to unreasonable weight assignment. To solve this problem, an improved DEA model with relative upper-limit and lower-limit confidence region constraint has been established based on information entropy. The improved model has been applied to evaluating the performance of third-party logistics suppliers. Evaluation results has shown that the improved model significantly weakened the disadvantage of CCR model that the weights of negative indicators are often assigned zero.
