Abstract :
In vector control system of PMSM, the change of temperature and electrical current in different operating conditions would cause variation in the machine parameters. This will lead to the current loop PI parameters and the actual operating conditions do not match, as a result the system performance would have a serious decline. To solve this problem, the Recursive Least Squares method with forgetting factor is used to obtain the real-time parameters of PMSM, and then the current loop PI parameters can be got by some calculations. Experimental results show that PI parameters can effectively adapt to the changes in working conditions and quickly achieve precise control of current. The system has a better performance.
