Abstract :
The paper presents a feedback scheduling architecture for the shared remote controller which are composed of periodic, sporadic and non-periodic tasks. It is important to properly allocate the computational resources such that the quality of service requirements of each task are satisfied. The scheduler is based on resource reservation. The goal of our scheduler is to ensure periodic and sporadic tasks to meet their deadlines, and reduce the average response time of non-periodic tasks as far as possible. After providing a precise mathematical model of the scheduler, we design a controller based on state feedback and pole-placement to improve constant bandwidth server in EDF scheduling. Experiments based on VxWorks and Goahead embedded Web server demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheduling algorithm.
