Abstract :
This paper presents the direct variable structure controller and fuzzy variable structure controller for a class of fuzzy dynamics. A linear parameter-varying (LPV) or nonlinear system is first represented by a fuzzy model, which consists of linear time-invariant systems at selected operation points. The variable structure control method is used to solve the controller design for each operation point and the direct variable structure controller for fuzzy system. The proposed methods were applied to the roll control channel in a missile where the plant was regarded as a LPV system, that is, the attitude and the velocity are variable. The simulation results show that the proposed controller performed well over the entire flight region
