Abstract :
Sizing the drive system is a major task in electric traction design. To reach this goal, we have chosen an approach using power efficiency criteria minimization by iterative procedure. To start with, this study proposes a statistical analysis of electric vehicle (EV) mission for establishment of power and base speed of drive system motorization. The result is considered an initial step in drive system design.
