Abstract :
We assessed the potential application of GOSAT in monitoring the atmospheric CO2 concentration induced by human activities using GOSAT L2B data which were released from 2009. The data of CO2 column abundance in Chinese land region, which are derived from the IR hyperspectral measurement by Fourier Transform Spectrometer (FTS) in GOSAT, and CO2 anthropogenic emissions were used. The results showed that GOSAT standard products of CO2 column abundance have a potential application to identify the source of CO2 anthropogenic emission based on their correlation with the anthropogenic emissions. The CO2 spectrum with different observation mode and atmospheric condition showed different radiance at the stationary of Waliguang, one of the stations in GAW, where there are no the anthropogenic emissions occur.
