Abstract
In order to overcome poor adaptability of conventional PID controller, a kind of control algorithm which is called single neural adaptive control is designed. Aiming to random and time-variant wireless network delay, a novel approach is proposed that new Smith predictor combined with single neural adaptive control for the Wireless networked control systems (WNCS). Because new Smith predictor doesn´t include network delay model, therefore network delay is no need to be measured, identified or estimated on line. It is applicable to some occasions that network delays are larger than one, even tens sampling periods. Based on IEEE 802.15.4 (ZigBee), the results of simulation show validity of the control scheme.
