Abstract :
FPGA implementation of artificial neural networks has been an active research line in past years. ANNs because of their high capabilities in pattern recognition, classification and parallel processing are extensively used in several fields. In this paper, a new method to FPGA implementation of a multi layer perceptron neural network is introduced. The obtained network is used to install a hardware system in order to detection anthelmintics resistant nematodes in sheep flocks. The implemented method results in a low-cost and flexible circuit.
