Abstract :
The aim of the MACE project is to overcome the fragmentation of digital learning resources in architectural education. This requires the human-controlled enrichment of learning resources, i.e. the tagging of learning objects with controlled architectural vocabularies. In this paper, we briefly describe how the architectural vocabulary used for manual enrichment is modelled. Furthermore, we develop the requirements for setup and maintenance of these vocabularies. Finally, we briefly compare existing maintenance tools and reason why and describe how we use the Protege tool to maintain the MACE classification vocabulary.
