Abstract :
Summary form only given as follows. The paper reports cooperative behavior of cellular machines. The cellular machine consists of homogeneous cells (or cells with a small number of kind) that have distributed intelligence to exhibit autonomous behavior based on local information. As an example, we have developed an automatic warehouse that demonstrated fault-tolerance and self-organization capabilities. The paper reports an attempt to implement cooperative behavior of the cellular automatic warehouse that stores and transports packets larger than the size of the cells.
