Abstract
This paper describes an analysis methodology, which may be applied on a PC, of a network of grounding systems interconnected by the sheaths of its MV power cables. The methodology applies to the different possible configurations of the power system. In particular, a power cable has been examined with all its grounding systems interconnected by a sheath, fed by a substation with an isolated neutral. The results are illustrated. The current research intends to apply the methodology to various typical cases in order to obtain useful results in the planning and in the operation of the grounding systems in distribution networks.
