Abstract :
This paper describes a water shock tube for dynamic calibration of high pressure transducers up to 1000 MPa. The apparatus has an inner diameter of 30 mm and a length of 550 mm. The lead azide detonator is used as an explosive source. The pressure waves is monitored by a dispersive pressure bar gauge made by PVF2 piezoelectric film. Two different kinds of high pressure transducers have been tested by this apparatus, and their dynamic responses characteristics are obtained
