Abstract :
This paper deals with the chromatic dispersion measurement of multiple fiber sections concatenated with linear amplifier repeater(s). This scheme sinusoidally modulates the phase, not the light amplitude, at the transmitter to suppress undesirable nonlinear effects. Measurable limit is analyzed and an experimental demonstration is presented
