Abstract :
A new calibration method using two LOADs for impedance meters has been developed previously (1993). This enables an instrument to measure impedance phases with smaller uncertainties than those achieved by the traditional OPEN-SHORT-LOAD (OSL) calibration. A phase uncertainty of ±500×10-6 rad. is easily realizable at 1 GHz
