  • Abstract
A low-arousal-level can be a cause of serious accidents. Consequently, monitoring and detecting the arousal level in advance is significant in respect of preventing the accidents. Physiological indices reflect the arousal level. However, a measurement method which is simple and easy, end a control method which is proper and effective are required in studies with respect to measuring and controlling arousal level using the physiological indices. In this paper, a new system for monitoring the arousal level is developed. The system estimates the arousal level based on the fuzzy inference with electrodermal activity (EDA) and gives warnings. Having portability, the system can be used more widely
