Abstract :
This paper describes the welding process of automatic butt-fusion welding machine for polyethylene pipe in detail. A control system based on ARM processor is designed, whose hardware and software are analyzed in detail. Bang-bang and fuzzy-PID control algorithm is applied to its temperature control which improves its capacity of anti-interference. Taking ISO11414 standard as reference, the method to determine the key parameters during the welding process is presented in the paper. The control system presented in this paper can ensure the welding quality.
