Abstract :
To meet different requirements of accuracy and rapidity of photovoltaic generation MPPT systems in different operation condition, a dual-mode fuzzy control strategy with regulating factor was proposed, which combines rough tuning fuzzy control and precise tuning fuzzy control with regulating factor, then the conflict between fast tracing and accurate positioning was solved. The simulation model of controller is built in MATLAB/Simulink environment, and the lots of simulation results show that dual-mode fuzzy control strategy can track maximum power point of photovoltaic arrays accurately and rapidly, and follow the changes in the external environment. Furthermore, fuzzy rules can be modified in real-time by regulating factor, in which it makes the control accuracy and effect both better.
