Abstract :
According to the principle of the model reference adaptive control theory, the novel method using Popov´s hyperstability criterion to solve the convergent problem of the speed identification algorithm in a speed sensor-less direct torque control system is presented in this paper. Theory analysis and simulation study show that the suggested method can assure global asymptotically stability of the speed identification algorithm
