Abstract :
The main elements of battlefield electromagnetic environment were analyzed in this paper, such as natural electromagnetic radiation, civil electromagnetic radiation, mutual and self-interference of our equipment, intentional electromagnetic interference from the enemy and nuclear electromagnetic pulse. Then a method based on signal population distribution was introduced to calculate the complexity of the battlefield electromagnetic environment. Meanwhile, the indexes and rules used in assessing the battlefield electromagnetic environment complexity degree, and the steps according to the method above were given in this paper.
