Abstract
In this paper, the terminal guidance system of a flight vehicle with side-window detection is analyzed and modeled, in which the vision constraints caused by the side-window are considered. First, the most suitable encounter mode under different situations is given, by analyzing four possible engagement manners. Then, the convergence equivalence between LOS rate and body-LOS rate is proved since it is convenient to describe the side-window constraints in a body-LOS coordinate system. Then, the terminal guidance system of the flight vehicle is modeled in a body-LOS coordinate system in which the side-window constraints are converted into the constraints on states. The model combined with the attitude dynamics can be used in the on-going integrated design for the flight vehicle with side-window detection.
