Abstract
This paper describes a designing method to prevent zero-point drift which are susceptible to result when a rapid excitation is employed with electromagnetic flowmeter. It is shown how to prevent adverse effect of magnetic flux differential noise in rapid excitation, the new items of the composite alternated constant current excitation circuit, magnetic circuit configuration, and drift-corrected signal processing. As a result, zero-point drift which were observed ±2% in the maximum sensitivity range of 0.1 m/s have been reduced to ±0.15% or less
