Abstract
This paper presents the admittance and transfer function analysis of dispersive surface acoustic wave (SAW) interdigital transducer (IDT) with nonuniform electrode spacing, using two dimensional mixed field model. The verification of the analysis have been done and compared with the crossed and in-line field models. The characterization of the TDT model used to design SAW digital transversal filter is facilitated by partitioning the overall periodic transducer response into an impulse function, a discrete time sampling function, and an acoustic weighting function
