Abstract :
This paper studies discrete-time autonomous systems Σ: xk+1=f(xk), yk=h(xk). We investigate the problem of when asymptotic stability of Σ can be characterized by means of zero-state observability of Σ and square summability of the output function h(xk). The relationship among observability, square summable series and stability of discrete-time autonomous systems is exposed
