Abstract
In this paper, the effects of superposing and multiplying sampling noise on band-limited periodic signal measurements are investigated as viewed from spectrum. The relations between the statistic characteristics of signal spectrum and three parameters such as signal harmonic frequency, statistic characteristics of sampling noise and numbers of points of FFT algorithm are given. Meanwhile, as a special case of the multiplying sampling noise, the effect of time jitter is also analysed. The conclusions are valuable for analysing the sampled signal and system quality
