Abstract :
Quality variations are inevitable for any production process. This paper is aimed at constructing a feasible mathematical model describing quality variations in multidisciplinary optimization robust design. The proposed model is capable of dealing with the coupled systems and uncertainties. Based on our theory, we can give results of the individual subsystem variations with quantity values, and provide the mathematical model for the further analysis of the multidisciplinary optimization robust design. A NASA example is presented to illustrate the usefulness of our results.
