  • Abstract
    A new method of quality inspect based on Artificial Neural Network (ANN) in CIMS is proposed in this paper. This link, called “Neural Network Quality Inspect(NQI)” firstly, is introduced into the bottom three levels in CIMS hierarchical control. Intelligent database and an object-oriented method for NN are used. The manufacturing knowledge can be attained semi-automatically. The degree of total system intelligence is much high. Some simulation had been done in IBM/486
