Abstract :
This paper presents a new scrambling algorithm forimage encryption. It combines the Logistic chaotic sequence andthe common Rubik´s Cube. The algorithm partition an original image into several blocks and generates some cubes. Rotate these cubes similar to Rubik´s Cube by using the methods which aregenerated by Logistic system. After that, we use those cubesto revert a new scrambled image. Due to the complexity of Rubik´s Cube and the rotation methods are totally generated bychaotic system, this algorithm only could be revert by knowingthe arguments of the Logistic system. By using the argumentsas the key, this algorithm has good one-key-one-image securityand practicability. Compared with some other algorithms, thisalgorithm has its own advantages such as large space of secret key.
