Abstract :
In China, as hermetic automated equipments have not been used in so large a scale that the cement conveying mainly depends on cement porters. Cement porters often work in dusty circumstances with very high labor intensities. So it is necessary to develop cement porter´s protective clothing by improving the current cement workers´ clothing, to satisfy the requirements on work movements and environmental conditions. There has not been any standard for cement porter´s protective clothing in the world ever. To be the first, a questionnaire survey and a field study were conducted to conclude the performance requirements on the fabric for cement porter´s protective clothing. Then eight kinds of materials were tested and compared in the selected properties. Consulting Standard GB 17956-2000 and taking field study results into account, test items and specifications of the fabric for cement porter´s protective clothing were suggested: dustproof-comfort items, durability items and basic parameter. This research establishes the basis to develop cement porter´s protective clothing and to formulate the special standard.
