  • Abstract
Vehicle shift quality evaluation is the basis of integrated control for shift quality. To overcome the shortcomings of traditional subjective evaluation method for vehicle shift quality, a new approach to shift quality subjective evaluation based on fuzzy logic and evidence theory is proposed in this paper. People´s feeling is adopted as instrumentation in the proposed method. The results of subjective evaluation owned various expressive forms are quantified using fuzzy logic. And then group decision making with quantified subjective evaluation results from various drivers is combined by means of evidence theory. Computational results demonstrate that the proposed method can solve the vagueness and uncertainty of traditional subjective evaluation method and achieve vehicle shift quality subjective evaluation exactly and credibly, whose evaluation results have a good consistency with reality.
