Abstract :
The distributed model predictive control (DMPC) problem is investigated in this paper for large-scale systems with multi-rate sampling, where the sampling rate of each subsystem is time-varying. An observer-based distributed controller is designed for the multi-rate large-scale systems by using cooperative DMPC control strategy. Moreover, stability analysis is also presented for the multi-rate large-scale systems. Finally, an illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
