  • Abstract
The accuracy of silver/silver chloride electrodes was examined in terms of offset voltage between the two electrodes in KCl solution. The voltages were within several tens micro volts and the temperature coefficients about a few micro volts per degree in centigrade at room temperatures due to the affection of mixed cells. In order to analyze the instability of the potential, the chemically etched surface of the silver electrodes and silver chloride crystallization anodically processed were observed by SEM. The silver were also measured by XPS
