Abstract :
This study focuses on the instability of truck cranes under different ground conditions. The models of a truck cranes QY25C from a company are made based on ADAMS (Automatic Analysis of Mechanical System). Through the vibration curve of the outriggers, the validity of the virtual prototype is proved-the reactions of outriggers, which are caused by sudden loading and unloading, wind force and the flexible boom, corresponded to reality. Then, a series of simulation is done to analysis the stability of the truck crane on different ground conditions. Finally, the lifting capacity chart on a relatively soft ground is made and the method of creating lifting capacity charts for each ground condition is proposed to ensure the safety.
