Abstract :
In this paper we studied a public key cryptosystems based on elliptic curve cryptosystems, we presented a fast parallel architecture for the implementation of the elliptic curve scalar multiplication using programmable cellular automata. Our architecture is aimed to operate in a polynomial basis. It is fully parameterizable in Galois field bases. Elliptic curve point multiplication design defined in projective coordinates is developed and optimized. New designs of elliptic curve arithmeticpsilas, point addition and doubling operations, are proposed. Output results, has been synthesized using a reconfigurable hardware platform Xilinx Virtex II pro: XC2VP100-6fft1714 FPGA.
