Abstract :
The finite element model of upper beam is established. Using deformation and quality as structural performance evaluation indicator, the key parameters that affect upper beam´s structure performance are screened out. Obtained sequence of parameters that affects the structure properties of upper beam is as follows: upper and lower plate thickness, upper beam height, thickness of middle cross-plate, middle vertical plate thickness, and external plate thickness. The conclusions not only provide key dimension parameters for the optimization of hydraulic press mainframe, but also have some guidance for the design of other similar structural parts.
